Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups sour cream
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Pure vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
Directions:
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture is white.
- Add vanilla and sour cream and mix.
- Beat the egg whites until foamy.
- Fold the flour and the egg whites into the rest of the mixture (sift the flour to avoid lumps).
- Pour the batter into a greased round cake pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375 F (190-200 C) 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. ENJOY!
